Gajar (Carrot) Ka Halwa


Note: Gajar Ka Halwa is a popular Indian dessert. It is a North Indian (Punjabi) recipe made with grated carrots, milk, sugar, etc. It is a common recipe made during winter seasons.

Ingredients

Carrot: ½ kg

Milk: 1 kg

Sugar: 2 cup

Ghee: 1 cup

Raisin: 2 tablespoon

Cashewnut: 2 tablespoon

Cardamom: 5 number


Method

Grate carrot & cook with milk & sugar.

When carrot is well cooked & water evaporates add ghee & cardamom to this & cook.

Add fried cashew & raisins to it & serve hot.
