Potato Pakoda

Note: Pakodas / Pakoras are a good easy to prepare snacks for teatime. It is basically a North Indian Cuisine.



Besan: 1 cup

Potato: 2 number (medium)

Onion: 1 number (small)

Green Chilly: 1 number

Coriander Leaves: as required

Salt: As per taste

Oil: for frying


In a bowl add besan, finely chopped potato, onion, green chilly, coriander leaves & salt. Mix well in a semi thick batter.

Heat oil in a deep bottomed pan.

With spoon drop small pakoda’s in oil.

Fry till golden brown in colour.

Serve with tomato ketchup.
