Ingredients

Maida: 1 cup

Onion: 1 number (medium size)

Potato: 2 numbers (medium size)

Raisins: ½ tablespoon

Cashew nut: 1 tablespoon

Turmeric powder: 1/4 teaspoon

Kashmiri red chilly: ½ teaspoon

Coriander leaves: 1 tablespoon

Salt: as required

Oil: for frying


Method

Make dough from maida & besan as for chappati.

Heat oil in pan add chopped onion & sauté well.

Add mashed turmeric Kasmiri chilly powder & salt, sauté well

Add mashed potato, Amchur powder & chopped coriander leaves & mix well.

Then to this add chopped cashew nuts & raisins

Divide dough into small balls. Roll the ball into circles about 4-5 inch wide.

Cut circle from between & make cones out of it.

Fill these cones with potato mix & Keep one part in your hand and put some water on the edges with help of a finger. Fold the edges giving it a round shape so as toseal the edges.

Heat oil in deep bottomed pan & put prepared samosa one by one till golden brown in colour.

Serve hot with tomato ketchup or green chutney.
